Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) declined, for the second consecutive day, by 0.40% or 20.28 points and closed Monday’s trading session at 5,007.68 points.
The turnover amounted to AED 113.04 million after 35.60 million shares were traded through 1,522 transactions.
Market cap value plunged by AED 1.68 billion to AED 514.86 billion, compared to AED 516.54 billion on Sunday.
The energy sector led the decliners with 0.65%, whereas the telecom index remained unchanged.
Moreover, Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) came on top of the losing stocks and dropped 10%, whereas Sharjah Cement led the winners with an 8.75% increase.
Aldar Properties went down by 2.35%, whereas Dana Gas levelled up by 0.68%.
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) achieved the highest turnover of AED 35.85 million, while Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) led the trading activity through 12.03 million shares.
