Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday's trading session on a negative note with the main EGX30 index falling by 0.91% to end at 10,808 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI declined by 0.83% to 2,908 points, while the EGX100 EWI retreated by 0.84% to 3,870 points.
In the meantime, the EGX50 EWI dropped by 0.72% to close at 2,402 points.
The market cap value slid by EGP 5.3 billion to EGP 715.207 billion.
Foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 4 million and EGP 8.1 million, respectively, while local investors were net buyers with EGP 12.1 million.
The market's turnover amounted to EGP 1.89 billion after 442.87 million shares were exchanged through about 57,560 transactions.
