Dubai – Mubasher: Emaar Properties generated revenues amounting to AED 10.10 billion ($2.80 billion) in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, marking a 50% year-on-year (YoY) hike, according to the financial results.
The property sales reached nearly AED 19.30 billion ($5.30 billion) in Q1-25, an annual growth of 42% from AED 13.50 billion ($3.70 billion).
Revenue backlog from property sales enlarged by 62% YoY to AED 127 billion ($34.60 billion) as of 31 March 2025, while the net profit before tax rose by 27% YoY to AED 5.40 billion ($1.50 billion).
International Development
Emaar’s international real estate operations recorded property sales of AED 2.80 billion ($ 762 million) in Q1-25, reflecting continued demand across key markets.
Meanwhile, the revenue amounted to AED 626 million ($170 million), mainly driven by strong results in India and Egypt.
Revenue from international real estate operations accounted for 6% of Emaar’s total revenue in Q1-25.
In the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2024, Emaar Properties’ sales jumped by 72% to AED 70 billion ($19 billion) from AED 40.30 billion ($11 billion) in 2023.
