UAE – Mubasher: The Emirati cabinet has unveiled a five-year multi-entry visa for all tourists visiting the country, Emirates News Agency (WAM) recently reported.
The mandate aims to support the UAE’s tourism economy and turn the nation into a global tourist hub.
The new visa announcement was made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai during the cabinet's first meeting in 2020 on Monday, 6 January.
Moreover, the UAE cabinet has introduced a visa waiver for Mexican citizens travelling to the UAE, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
Commenting on the country’s achievements, Sheikh Mohammed explained, "We do not want our achievements to be limited to one segment of society.”
“We want them to be diversified to touch the lives of seniors, children and people of determination, both for UAE nationals and residents, students and employees, entrepreneurs and investors, alike," he concluded.
The two decisions will be implemented during the first quarter of 2020.
